Some people start working out to look good, others to be healthier and others just as a way to release stress. No matter what cause got you in working out, we are all going to experience the same result. People usually think that there is no type of intellect in working out, but they are wrong. Working out goes far beyond just having a good body. If you are improving yourself and learning from it, that is consider intellect. Working out in particular provides three means to intellectualism, which consist in Kinesiology, Nutrition and Research.

KINESIOLOGY

Kinesiology is the science of human movement. Working out requires using every muscle in your body. It is extremely important to know how your own body works. Knowing your body helps increase efficacy in the muscles, and it also helps preventing muscle cramps which tend to be very painful. In the passage Hidden Intellectualism written by Gerald Graff he states: "There must be many buried or hidden forms of intellectualism that do not get channeled into academics work but might if schools were more alert about tapping into them. "A good example of this would be how school make students only take physically education until their freshman year of high school. Not prioritizing health into the life of students, prioritizing academics more than physically education.

                         NUTRITION

Working out does not only consist of exercising, but a good part also consists of having a good diet, and a good nutrition. Good nutrition is crucial for maintaining overall health and well-being. When you work out you are tearing up the muscle, in order to make it bigger and stronger.  In the passage hidden intellectualism by Gerald Graff he said, " Everyone has a stake in learning to use argument to express and defend his or her interest". People often argue about which nutrition method is the best, but each body works differently from one another. Everyone has the right to defend their beliefs and their methods. For example, a way to recover and let the muscle keep growing is by having a good and healthy diet. A good nutrition is considering intellect because you need to know the right type of fuel that your body needs in order to make it grow and loose fat.

                   RESEARCH

No one is born with knowledge, and of course working out isn't the exception. When we try something new, we tend to be lost and have no type or little knowledge about it. Same thing comes with working out, you need to research what best suits your interest. If you either want to gain muscular mass or lose weight, they both have completely different methods and strategies that you need to be aware of. Research is intellectual, not only because you are looking for something you might know of, but because you are actually learning from them. In the passage Hidden Intellectual written by Gerald Graff, he states: "What schools and colleges need to do is to take the intellectual initiative that students already display and build on it. The job of schools is not to give students more things to read but to teach students how to read anything. "In this case students should be able to know how to interpret any type of text.

               MEMORY WORK

Some people struggle with having a good memory, did you know by working out it can help increase it? amazing right. This works in quite a unique way. When you work out you do constant repetitions of exercises in order to do increase muscle strength and stamina. When your workout is a stress-relief tool, your mind goes blank and is just as a getaway tool to not think about anything and just exercise. Like the quote says, sometimes all we need is to forget about everything to regain ourselves back again. In the passage Hidden intellectualism written by: Gerald Graff he states. " I was practicing being an intellectual before I knew that was what I would be or wanted to be". You
